Disclaimer
CoreScanWP is a free, informational tool. This page sets expectations about the accuracy of its results and limits our liability for how they are used.
No warranty
CoreScanWP is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
Accuracy of results
Detection is heuristic. It reads the public signals a site exposes and weighs them, so both false positives and false negatives are possible. A plugin, theme, or version we report may be wrong, out of date, or incomplete, and a site we cannot fingerprint may still be running WordPress.
Not a security audit
The results are informational only and are not a substitute for a professional security assessment, penetration test, or legal advice. Do not make security or compliance decisions on the basis of a CoreScanWP scan alone.
Third-party data and links
CoreScanWP references external sources such as the NIST National Vulnerability Database and ipinfo.io, and links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party resource.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreScanWP and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service or its results.
